Well, it is time to start planning for next weekend’s expedition to the northlands in search of the elusive sarracenia flower. Which, in truth, will never inspire poets as, say, the rose has.
Still it should be a fun time looking in a swamp near Sandstone MN. Hopefully we will find a few other Minnesota rare plants as well.
Note - Swamp. Dress appropriately to get wet and spare, dry shoes will make the trip home a bit more comfortable.

Given the distance and lack of parking at the site, car pooling is advised. Contact us for the meeting spot, in Ham Lake. Assembly time should be about 1 pm, arrival at Sandstone about 2.
